Susan and Tyler’s wedding at Washington Golf & Country Club represents exactly that. As we enter the summer season, colorful blooms are in full effect and what better way to elevate an already beautiful occasion than with the freshest and most vibrant flowers around.
The couple’s vision for their big day played perfectly with all of our favorite parts of the season, and we were so lucky to be able to create stunning arrangements that are both elegant and fun, and helping to make their day truly unforgettable.
From bright and bold coral charm peonies to delicate and romantic butterfly ranunculus, Susan’s bouquet as well as those of her bridesmaids, were a spray of summer sunshine in floral form. The mix of textures and colors created a vibrant and eye-catching display that perfectly complemented the the elegant simplicity of the bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses.
The lush greenery and various shades of pink, orange, blue, and white added a touch of whimsy to the elegant simplicity of the event at both their ceremony venue, and the reception at Washington Golf & Country Club.
At cocktail hour, the florals came to life in an even bigger way, from accenting lounge areas and the guest book table, to highlighting the bold coral seating chart.
The coral charm peonies and free spirit roses were the real stars of this part of the day, as they brought a cheerful warmth to the neutrals of this al fresco gathering before guests moved on to the reception.
As the evening progressed, guests were greeted by tables adorned with colorful centerpieces featuring a mix of garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, and delphinium in shades of pink, coral, yellow, and blue.
The seasonal florals were complimented by lush local greenery that rounded out the look, and a mix of heights and styles adding even more visual interest throughout the space.
The vibrant florals paired perfectly with the elegant and classic decor of the reception, as well as the architecture of the venue, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all in attendance.
